The Ark Brought into the Temple
5 So (A)all the work that Solomon had done for the house of the Lord was finished; and Solomon brought in the things which his father David had dedicated: the silver and the gold and all the furnishings. And he put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
The Ark Brought into the Temple(B)
2 (C)Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up (D)from the City of David, which is Zion. 3 (E)Therefore all the men of Israel assembled with the king (F)at the feast, which was in the seventh month. 4 So all the elders of Israel came, and the (G)Levites took up the ark. 5 Then they brought up the ark, the tabernacle of meeting, and all the holy furnishings that were in the tabernacle. The priests and the Levites brought them up. 6 Also King Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him before the ark, were sacrificing sheep and oxen that could not be counted or numbered for multitude. 7 Then the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the (H)inner sanctuary of the [a]temple, to the Most Holy Place, under the wings of the cherubim. 8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim overshadowed the ark and its poles. 9 The poles extended so that the ends of the (I)poles of the ark could be seen from the holy place, in front of the inner sanctuary; but they could not be seen from outside. And [b]they are there to this day. 10 Nothing was in the ark except the two tablets which Moses (J)put there at Horeb, [c]when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they had come out of Egypt.
11 And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had [d]sanctified themselves, without keeping to their (K)divisions), 12 (L)and the Levites who were the singers, all those of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, stood at the east end of the altar, clothed in white linen, having cymbals, stringed instruments and harps, (M)and with them one hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets— 13 indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:
(N)“For He is good,
For His mercy endures forever,”
that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, 14 so that the priests could not [e]continue ministering because of the cloud; (O)for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

5 Kaya't(A) natapos ang lahat ng gawaing ginawa ni Solomon para sa bahay ng Panginoon. Ipinasok ni Solomon ang mga bagay na itinalaga ni David na kanyang ama; at itinago ang pilak, ginto, at ang lahat ng mga kagamitan sa kabang-yaman ng bahay ng Diyos.

2 Pinulong(C) ni Solomon sa Jerusalem ang matatanda ng Israel, at ang lahat ng puno ng mga lipi, ang mga pinuno ng mga sambahayan ng mga ninuno ng mga anak ni Israel, upang dalhin ang kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon mula sa lunsod ni David na siyang Zion.
3 Ang lahat ng lalaki ng Israel ay nagtipun-tipon sa harapan ng hari sa kapistahan na nasa ikapitong buwan.
4 Dumating ang lahat ng matatanda sa Israel at pinasan ng mga Levita ang kaban.
5 Kanilang dinala ang kaban, ang toldang tipanan, at ang lahat ng mga banal na kasangkapang nasa tolda; ang mga ito'y dinala ng mga pari at ng mga Levita.
6 Si Haring Solomon at ang buong kapulungan ng Israel na nagtipun-tipon sa harapan niya ay nasa harapan ng kaban, na naghahandog ng napakaraming mga tupa at mga baka, na ang mga ito ay hindi mabilang.
7 Ipinasok ng mga pari ang kaban ng tipan ng Panginoon sa kalalagyan sa panloob na santuwaryo ng bahay, sa kabanal-banalang dako, sa ilalim ng mga pakpak ng mga kerubin.
8 Sapagkat iniladlad ng mga kerubin ang kanilang mga pakpak sa ibabaw ng kaban, kaya't ang mga kerubin ay lumulukob sa kaban at sa mga pasanan nito.
9 Ang mga pasanan ay napakahaba kaya't ang mga dulo ng mga pasanan ay nakikita mula sa banal na dako sa harapan ng panloob na santuwaryo, ngunit ang mga ito ay hindi nakikita sa labas; at ang mga iyon ay naroroon hanggang sa araw na ito.
10 Walang(D) anumang bagay sa loob ng kaban maliban sa dalawang tapyas ng bato na inilagay doon ni Moises sa Horeb, na doon ang Panginoon ay nakipagtipan sa mga anak ni Israel, nang sila'y lumabas sa Ehipto.
Ang Kaluwalhatian ng Panginoon
11 Nang ang mga pari ay lumabas sa banal na dako (sapagkat ang lahat ng pari na naroroon ay nagtalaga ng kanilang mga sarili, at hindi sinunod ang kanilang pagkakapangkat-pangkat.
12 Lahat ng mga mang-aawit na mga Levita, sina Asaf, Heman, Jedutun, at ang kanilang mga anak at mga kapatid, na nakadamit ng pinong lino, na may mga pompiyang, mga salterio, at mga alpa, ay nakatayo sa gawing silangan ng dambana na may kasamang isandaan at dalawampung pari na umiihip ng mga trumpeta.
13 Katungkulan(E)(F) ng mga umiihip ng trumpeta at ng mga mang-aawit na sila'y marinig na sama-sama sa pagpupuri at pasasalamat sa Panginoon), at nang ang awit ay inilakas, na may mga trumpeta at mga pompiyang at iba pang kagamitang panugtog, sa pagpupuri sa Panginoon,
“Sapagkat siya'y mabuti;
sapagkat ang kanyang tapat na pag-ibig ay magpakailanman,”
ang bahay ng Panginoon ay napuno ng ulap,
14 kaya't ang mga pari ay hindi makatayo upang makapaglingkod dahil sa ulap; sapagkat ang kaluwalhatian ng Panginoon ang pumuno sa bahay ng Diyos.
