^5 (A)Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned for eleven years in Jerusalem; and he did evil in the sight of the Lord his God. ⁶ Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up ^(B)against him and ^(C)bound him with bronze chains to take him to Babylon.

⁷ And ^(A)they slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then ^(B)put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles, and brought him to Babylon.
