¹⁶ But on account of his strength his heart grew proud unto destruction. And he acted unfaithfully against Yahweh his God and went into the temple of Yahweh to offer an incense offering on the altar.

²⁰ But when^[a] his heart became arrogant and his spirit became hard so as to act proudly, he was deposed from the throne of his kingdom and the^[b] glory was taken away from him.^[c]
