⁹ And she gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great abundance, and precious stones; there never were any spices such as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

²⁴ Each man brought his present: articles of silver and gold, garments, ^(A)armor, spices, horses, and mules, at a set rate year by year.

The Queen of Sheba’s Praise of Solomon^(A)

9 Now ^(B)when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to Jerusalem to test Solomon with hard questions, having a very great retinue, camels that bore spices, gold in abundance, and precious stones; and when she came to Solomon, she spoke with him about all that was in her heart.

¹⁰ Then she ^(A)gave the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold, spices in great quantity, and precious stones. There never again came such abundance of spices as the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon.

¹⁴ Then Hiram sent the king one hundred and twenty talents of gold.

¹¹ And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and ^(A)carry down a present for the man—a little ^(B)balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.

³⁴ And the Lord said to Moses: ^(B)“Take sweet spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, and pure frankincense with these sweet spices; there shall be equal amounts of each.
