¹⁵ They did not depart from the command of the king to the priests and Levites concerning any matter or concerning the ^(A)treasuries.

¹² Also ^(A)the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, ^(B)at the word of the Lord.

The Treasuries and Other Duties

²⁰ Of the Levites, Ahijah was ^(A)over the treasuries of the house of God and over the treasuries of the ^(B)dedicated^[a] things. ²¹ The sons of ^[b]Laadan, the descendants of the Gershonites of Laadan, heads of their fathers’ houses, of Laadan the Gershonite: ^[c]Jehieli. ²² The sons of Jehieli, Zetham and Joel his brother, were over the treasuries of the house of the Lord. ²³ Of the ^(C)Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites: ^24 (D)Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was overseer of the treasuries. ²⁵ And his brethren by Eliezer were Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zichri his son, and ^(E)Shelomith his son.

²⁶ This Shelomith and his brethren were over all the treasuries of the dedicated things ^(F)which King David and the heads of fathers’ houses, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the army, had dedicated.

²⁹ Some of them were appointed over the furnishings and over all the implements of the sanctuary, and over the ^(A)fine flour and the wine and the oil and the incense and the spices.

⁵¹ So all the work that King Solomon had done for the house of the Lord was finished; and Solomon brought in the things ^(A)which his father David had dedicated: the silver and the gold and the furnishings. He put them in the treasuries of the house of the Lord.

⁴² According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel ^(A)did all the work. ⁴³ Then Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses ^(B)blessed them.
