¹⁵ They did not deviate from the king’s commands to the priests or to the Levites in any matter, including that of the treasuries.

¹² Also in Judah the hand of God was on the people to give them unity^(A) of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the Lord.

The Treasurers and Other Officials

²⁰ Their fellow Levites^(A) were^[a] in charge of the treasuries of the house of God and the treasuries for the dedicated things.^(B)

²¹ The descendants of Ladan, who were Gershonites through Ladan and who were heads of families belonging to Ladan the Gershonite,^(C) were Jehieli, ²² the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the treasuries^(D) of the temple of the Lord.

²³ From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites and the Uzzielites:^(E)

²⁹ Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary,^(A) as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices.

⁵¹ When all the work King Solomon had done for the temple of the Lord was finished, he brought in the things his father David had dedicated^(A)—the silver and gold and the furnishings^(B)—and he placed them in the treasuries of the Lord’s temple.

⁴² The Israelites had done all the work just as the Lord had commanded Moses.^{(A) 43} Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lord had commanded.^(B) So Moses blessed^(C) them.
