¹⁴ if My people who are ^(A)called by My name will ^(B)humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, ^(C)then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

^9 (A)Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. ^10 (B)Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.

³⁷ yet when they ^[a]come to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent, and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness’; ³⁸ and when they return to You with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried captive, and pray toward their land which You gave to their fathers, the ^(A)city which You have chosen, and toward the temple which I have built for Your name: ³⁹ then hear from heaven Your dwelling place their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive Your people who have sinned against You.

^29 (A)But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. ³⁰ When you are in ^[a]distress, and all these things come upon you in the ^(B)latter days, when you ^(C)turn to the Lord your God and obey His voice

⁶ Behold, ^(A)I will bring it health and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them the abundance of peace and truth.

¹² Now when he was in affliction, he implored the Lord his God, and ^(A)humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, ¹³ and prayed to Him; and He ^(B)received his entreaty, heard his supplication, and brought him back to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh ^(C)knew that the Lord was God.
