¹⁰ I delight greatly in the Lord;
    my soul rejoices^(A) in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
    and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,^(B)
as a bridegroom adorns his head^(C) like a priest,
    and as a bride^(D) adorns herself with her jewels.

“Heaven is my throne,^(A)
    and the earth is my footstool.^(B)
Where is the house^(C) you will build for me?
    Where will my resting place be?

¹⁶ I will clothe her priests^(A) with salvation,
    and her faithful people will ever sing for joy.^(B)

⁸ ‘Arise, Lord,^(A) and come to your resting place,
    you and the ark of your might.
⁹ May your priests be clothed with your righteousness;^(B)
    may your faithful people^(C) sing for joy.’”

¹⁰ For the sake of your servant David,
    do not reject your anointed one.

⁸ Fine linen,^(A) bright and clean,
    was given her to wear.”
