^20 (A)that your eyes may be open day and night toward this house, the place where you have promised to set your name, that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place.

¹⁰ When Daniel knew that the document had been signed, he went to his house where ^(A)he had windows in his upper chamber open ^(B)toward Jerusalem. He got down on his knees ^(C)three times a day and prayed and ^(D)gave thanks before his God, as he had done previously.

⁹ For ^(A)in him the whole fullness of deity dwells ^(B)bodily,

^6 (A)let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, ^(B)confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even ^(C)I and my father's house have sinned.

^9 (A)For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those ^(B)whose heart is blameless^[a] toward him. ^(C)You have done foolishly in this, for from now on ^(D)you will have wars.”

^6 (A)but I have chosen Jerusalem that my name may be there, ^(B)and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’

^16 (A)Incline your ear, O Lord, and hear; ^(B)open your eyes, O Lord, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent ^(C)to mock the living God.
