⁶ King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who had assembled before him, were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be numbered or counted.

²¹ On the next day they offered sacrifices and burnt offerings to the Lord, a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, and a thousand lambs, with their libations, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel,^(A)

The Ark Placed in the Tent

16 They brought in the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they offered burnt offerings and offerings of well-being before God.^{(A) 2} When David had finished offering the burnt offerings and the offerings of well-being, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord,

¹³ and when those who bore the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fatted calf.
