⁶ He also made ^(A)ten lavers, and put five on the right side and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as they offered for the burnt offering they would wash in them, but the ^[a]Sea was for the ^(B)priests to wash in.

³⁸ Then ^(A)he made ten lavers of bronze; each laver contained ^[a]forty baths, and each laver was four cubits. On each of the ten carts was a laver.

^18 (A)“You shall also make a ^[a]laver of bronze, with its base also of bronze, for washing. You shall ^(B)put it between the tabernacle of meeting and the altar. And you shall put water in it, ¹⁹ for Aaron and his sons ^(C)shall wash their hands and their feet in water from it. ²⁰ When they go into the tabernacle of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering made by fire to the Lord, they shall wash with water, lest they die. ²¹ So they shall wash their hands and their feet, lest they die. And ^(D)it shall be a ^[b]statute forever to them—to him and his descendants throughout their generations.”

³⁸ There was a chamber and its entrance by the gateposts of the gateway, where they ^(A)washed the burnt offering.

^40 (B)Huram^[a] made the lavers and the shovels and the bowls. So Huram finished doing all the work that he was to do for King Solomon for the house of the Lord:

¹⁴ And I said to him, ^[a]“Sir, you know.”

So he said to me, ^(A)“These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and ^(B)washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

⁵ and from Jesus Christ, ^(A)the faithful ^(B)witness, the ^(C)firstborn from the dead, and ^(D)the ruler over the kings of the earth.

To Him ^(E)who ^[a]loved us ^(F)and washed us from our sins in His own blood, ⁶ and has ^(G)made us ^[b]kings and priests to His God and Father, ^(H)to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

⁷ But if we ^(A)walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and ^(B)the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
