⁷ Then Josiah ^(A)gave the lay people lambs and young goats from the flock, all for Passover offerings for all who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, as well as three thousand cattle; these were from the king’s ^(B)possessions.

⁶³ And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.

²⁴ For Hezekiah king of Judah ^(A)gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the leaders gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests ^(B)sanctified^[a] themselves.

¹⁷ Then it shall be the ^(A)prince’s part to give burnt offerings, grain offerings, and drink offerings, at the feasts, the New Moons, the Sabbaths, and at all the appointed seasons of the house of Israel. He shall prepare the sin offering, the grain offering, the burnt offering, and the peace offerings to make atonement for the house of Israel.”

³ The king also appointed a ^[a]portion of his ^(A)possessions^[b] for the burnt offerings: for the morning and evening burnt offerings, the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths and the New Moons and the set feasts, as it is written in the ^(B)Law of the Lord.

^8 (A)At that time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly ^(B)from the entrance of Hamath to ^(C)the^[a] Brook of Egypt. ⁹ And on the eighth day they held a ^(D)sacred assembly, for they observed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. ^10 (E)On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the good that the Lord had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.

³ Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:
