Huldah Prophesies Disaster

²² So Hilkiah and those whom the king had sent^[a] went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tokhath, son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in the Second Quarter) and spoke to her to that effect.

²⁰ Then ^(A)Miriam ^(B)the prophetess, the ^(C)sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and ^(D)all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.

⁹ He had four unmarried daughters, ^(A)who prophesied.

³⁶ And there was ^(A)a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived with her husband seven years from when she was a virgin,

⁴¹ And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth ^(A)was filled with the Holy Spirit, ⁴² and she exclaimed with a loud cry, ^(B)“Blessed are you among women, and ^(C)blessed is ^(D)the fruit of your womb! ⁴³ And why is this granted to me that the mother of ^(E)my Lord should come to me? ⁴⁴ For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. ⁴⁵ And ^(F)blessed is she who believed that there would be^[a] a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”

¹⁴ So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asaiah went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of ^(A)Tikvah, son of ^(B)Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe (now she lived in Jerusalem in ^(C)the Second Quarter), and they talked with her.

⁴ Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.
