¹⁵ Then they slaughtered the Passover lambs on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites ^[a]were ^(A)ashamed, and ^[b]sanctified themselves, and brought the burnt offerings to the house of the Lord.

³⁴ But the priests were too few, so that they could not skin all the burnt offerings; therefore ^(A)their brethren the Levites helped them until the work was ended and until the other priests had ^[a]sanctified themselves, ^(B)for the Levites were ^(C)more diligent in ^(D)sanctifying themselves than the priests.

¹⁰ “Son of man, ^(A)describe the ^[a]temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. ¹¹ And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the design of the ^[b]temple and its arrangement, its exits and its entrances, its entire design and all its ^(B)ordinances, all its forms and all its laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its whole design and all its ordinances, and ^(C)perform them.

⁶¹ Then ^(A)you will remember your ways and be ashamed, when you receive your older and your younger sisters; for I will give them to you for ^(B)daughters, ^(C)but not because of My covenant with you. ^62 (D)And I will establish My covenant with you. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, ⁶³ that you may ^(E)remember and be ashamed, ^(F)and never open your mouth anymore because of your shame, when I provide you an atonement for all you have done,” says the Lord God.’ ”

¹⁸ and to all who were written in the genealogy—their little ones and their wives, their sons and daughters, the whole company of them—for in their faithfulness they ^[a]sanctified themselves in holiness.

²⁴ For Hezekiah king of Judah ^(A)gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the leaders gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests ^(B)sanctified^[a] themselves.

¹⁵ And they gathered their brethren, ^(A)sanctified^[a] themselves, and went according to the commandment of the king, at the words of the Lord, ^(B)to cleanse the house of the Lord.

¹¹ And it came to pass when the priests came out of the Most Holy Place (for all the priests who were present had ^[a]sanctified themselves, without keeping to their ^(A)divisions),

²² Also let the ^(A)priests who come near the Lord ^(B)consecrate themselves, lest the Lord ^(C)break out against them.”
