¹² Also ^(A)the hand of God was on Judah to give them singleness of heart to obey the command of the king and the leaders, ^(B)at the word of the Lord.

³⁹ then I will ^(A)give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.

¹³ for ^(A)it is God who works in you both to will and to do ^(B)for His good pleasure.

⁷ Then I will give them ^(A)a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord; and they shall be ^(B)My people, and I will be their God, for they shall return to Me ^(C)with their whole heart.

Stand Fast

¹³ But we are ^[a]bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God ^(A)from the beginning ^(B)chose you for salvation ^(C)through ^[b]sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, ¹⁴ to which He called you by our gospel, for ^(D)the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁶ I will give you a ^(A)new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

³⁶ Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly.

^25 (A)And he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with stringed instruments, and with harps, ^(B)according to the commandment of David, of ^(C)Gad the king’s seer, and of Nathan the prophet; ^(D)for thus was the commandment of the Lord by His prophets.

⁵ “Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess. ⁶ Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is ^(A)your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’
