⁴ Then he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them in the East Square,

² And go out to ^(A)the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the Potsherd Gate; and proclaim there the words that I will tell you,

²⁹ After them Zadok the son of Immer made repairs in front of his own house. After him Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the East Gate, made repairs.

⁶ Then he set military captains over the people, gathered them together to him in the open square of the city gate, and ^(A)gave them encouragement, saying,
