⁷ Now, let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take care what you do, for there is no perversion of justice with the Lord our God or partiality or taking of bribes.”^(A)

²⁵ Far be it from you to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?”^(A)

¹¹ For God shows no partiality.^(A)

¹⁴ What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God’s part? By no means!^(A)

¹⁷ For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who is not partial and takes no bribe,^{(A) 18} who executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and who loves the strangers, providing them food and clothing.^(B)

²⁵ For the wrongdoer will be paid back for whatever wrong has been done, and there is no partiality.^(A)

¹⁸ “You shall appoint judges and officials throughout your tribes, in all your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall render just decisions for the people.^{(A) 19} You must not distort justice; you must not show partiality; and you must not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.^(B)
