A Vision of God in the Temple

6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty, and the hem of his robe filled the temple.^{(A) 2} Seraphs were in attendance above him; each had six wings: with two they covered their faces, and with two they covered their feet, and with two they flew.^{(B) 3} And one called to another and said,

⁴ The pivots^[a] on the thresholds shook at the voices of those who called, and the house filled with smoke. ⁵ And I said, “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!”^(D)

⁵⁵ But filled with the Holy Spirit, he gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus standing at the right hand of God.^{(A) 56} “Look,” he said, “I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”^(B)

¹⁰ So the man who was standing among the myrtle trees answered, “They are those whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”^(A)

⁴ Yet hear the word of the Lord, O King Zedekiah of Judah! Thus says the Lord concerning you: You shall not die by the sword;

⁴ Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel.

⁵ Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:^(A)
