⁷ Also in the third year of his reign he sent his leaders, Ben-Hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Michaiah, ^(A)to teach in the cities of Judah.

³ Then he said to the Levites ^(A)who taught all Israel, who were holy to the Lord: ^(B)“Put the holy ark ^(C)in the house which Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. ^(D)It shall no longer be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

^3 (A)For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a ^(B)teaching priest, and without ^(C)law;

The Whole Duty of Man

⁹ And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and ^(A)set^[a] in order many proverbs. ¹⁰ The Preacher sought to find ^[b]acceptable words; and what was written was upright—words of truth.

⁷ Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, ^(A)helped the people to understand the Law; and the people ^(B)stood in their place. ⁸ So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.

Prologue

1 The former account I made, O ^(A)Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

⁴³ but He said to them, “I must ^(A)preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, because for this purpose I have been sent.” ^44 (B)And He was preaching in the synagogues of ^[a]Galilee.

² Then He taught them many things by parables, ^(A)and said to them in His teaching:

Jesus Heals a Great Multitude^(A)

²³ And Jesus went about all Galilee, ^(B)teaching in their synagogues, preaching ^(C)the gospel of the kingdom, ^(D)and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
