¹³ And Asa and the people who were with him pursued them to ^(A)Gerar. So the Ethiopians were overthrown, and they could not recover, for they were broken before the Lord and His army. And they carried away very much ^[a]spoil.

^19 (A)And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; then as you go toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

26 There was a famine in the land, besides ^(A)the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to ^(B)Abimelech king of the Philistines, in Gerar.

20 And Abraham journeyed from ^(A)there to the South, and dwelt between ^(B)Kadesh and Shur, and ^(C)stayed in Gerar.

^9 (A)These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and ^(B)from the glory of His power,

¹⁴ Then they defeated all the cities around Gerar, for ^(A)the fear of the Lord came upon them; and they plundered all the cities, for there was exceedingly much ^[a]spoil in them.

²² For at that time they came to David day by day to help him, until it was a great army, ^(A)like the army of God.
