Solomon’s Death^(A)

²⁹ As for the other events of Solomon’s reign, from beginning to end, are they not written in the records of Nathan^(B) the prophet, in the prophecy of Ahijah^(C) the Shilonite and in the visions of Iddo the seer concerning Jeroboam^(D) son of Nebat?

⁵ Then the prophet Shemaiah^(A) came to Rehoboam and to the leaders of Judah who had assembled in Jerusalem for fear of Shishak, and he said to them, “This is what the Lord says, ‘You have abandoned me; therefore, I now abandon^(B) you to Shishak.’”
