¹⁰ Zorah, Aijalon, and Hebron, fortified cities that are in Judah and in Benjamin.

^11 (A)And the time that David was king in Hebron over ^(B)the house of Judah was seven years and six months.

⁷ So they set apart ^(A)Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, and ^(B)Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and ^(C)Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) ^(D)in the hill country of Judah.

⁴¹ And the territory of its inheritance included Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-shemesh, ^42 (A)Shaalabbin, ^(B)Aijalon, Ithlah,

³³ And in the lowland, ^(A)Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,

¹⁴ Therefore Hebron became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, ^(A)because he wholly followed the Lord, the God of Israel.

²² They went up into ^(A)the Negeb and came to ^(B)Hebron. ^(C)Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the ^(D)descendants of Anak, were there. (^(E)Hebron was built seven years before ^(F)Zoan in Egypt.)

² And Sarah died at ^(A)Kiriath-arba (that is, ^(B)Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.
