3 We live in this world, but we don't act like its people 4 or fight our battles with the weapons of this world. Instead, we use God's power that can destroy fortresses. We destroy arguments 5 and every bit of pride that keeps anyone from knowing God. We capture people's thoughts and make them obey Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
New International Version
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.(A) 4 The weapons we fight with(B) are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power(C) to demolish strongholds.(D) 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God,(E) and we take captive every thought to make it obedient(F) to Christ.
