18 who have swerved from the truth, (A)saying that the resurrection has already happened. They are upsetting the faith of some. 19 But God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: (B)“The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone (C)who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place,(A) and they destroy the faith of some.(B) 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm,(C) sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,”(D) and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord(E) must turn away from wickedness.”
