2 Timothy 2:17-19

17 and their word will [a]eat as doth a gangrene: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; 18 men who concerning the truth have [b]erred, saying that [c]the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some. 19 Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, [d]The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, [e]Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.

New International Version
17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus(A) and Philetus, 18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place,(B) and they destroy the faith of some.(C) 19 Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm,(D) sealed with this inscription: “The Lord knows those who are his,”(E) and, “Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord(F) must turn away from wickedness.”
