13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful,
for He cannot deny Himself.

14 Remind them of these things and solemnly charge them before God not to quarrel about words, which is useless—to the ruin of those who are listening. 15 Make every effort to present yourself before God as tried and true, as an unashamed worker cutting a straight path with the word of truth.

Dealing With False Teachers
14 Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words;(B) it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. 15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.(C)
