10 and with [a]all the deception of wickedness for (A)those who perish, because they did not receive the love of (B)the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason (C)God [b]will send upon them [c]a (D)deluding influence so that they will believe [d]what is false, 12 in order that they all may be [e]judged who (E)did not believe the truth, but [f](F)took pleasure in wickedness.

13 (G)But we should always give thanks to God for you, (H)brethren beloved by the Lord, because (I)God has chosen you [g]from the beginning (J)for salvation [h](K)through sanctification [i]by the Spirit and faith in the truth.

10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing.(A) They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.(B) 11 For this reason God sends them(C) a powerful delusion(D) so that they will believe the lie(E) 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.(F)

Stand Firm

13 But we ought always to thank God for you,(G) brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits[a](H) to be saved(I) through the sanctifying work of the Spirit(J) and through belief in the truth.
