Have given a boy as payment for a harlot,
And sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

¹¹ In the day that you ^(A)stood on the other side—
In the day that strangers carried captive his forces,
When foreigners entered his gates
And ^(B)cast lots for Jerusalem—
Even you were as one of them.

¹⁰ Yet she was carried away,
She went into captivity;
^(A)Her young children also were dashed to pieces
^(B)At the head of every street;
They ^(C)cast lots for her honorable men,
And all her great men were bound in chains.
