^12 (A)When your days are fulfilled and you ^(B)lie down with your fathers, ^(C)I will raise up one of your seed after you, who will come forth from ^[a]your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. ^13 (D)He shall build a house for My name, and ^(E)I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

²⁵ So now, O Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with Your ^[a]servant David my father that which You have ^[b]promised him, saying, ‘^(A)You shall not have a man cut off from before Me who is to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your sons keep their way to walk as you have walked before Me.’

⁵ then ^(A)I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I ^[a]promised to your father David, saying, ‘You shall not have a man cut off from the throne of Israel.’
