^12 (A)When your days are fulfilled and you ^(B)lie down with your fathers, ^(C)I will raise up one of your seed after you, who will come forth from ^[a]your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.

God Gives Wisdom to Solomon

⁶ Then Solomon said, “^(A)You have shown great lovingkindness to Your slave David my father, ^(B)according to how he walked before You in ^[a]truth and righteousness and uprightness of heart toward You; and ^(C)You have kept for him this great lovingkindness, that You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.
