²⁵ Then David built there an altar to the Lord, and he offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. And ^(A)the Lord responded to prayer for the land, and the plague was ^[a]withdrawn from Israel.

¹³ ‘Then My anger will be spent and I will satisfy My wrath on them, and I will be ^(A)appeased; then they will know that I, the Lord, have ^(B)spoken in My zeal, when I have spent My wrath upon them.

¹⁷ I will also clap My hands, and I will ^(A)satisfy My wrath; I, the Lord, have spoken.”

⁸ Then He called out to me and spoke to me, saying, “See, those who are going to the land of the north have ^[a](A)appeased My wrath in the land of the north.”
