¹¹ Then David arose in the morning, and the word of Yahweh came to ^(A)the prophet Gad, David’s ^(B)seer, saying,

¹³ Yet ^(A)Yahweh warned Israel and Judah ^(B)by the hand of all His prophets and ^(C)every seer, saying, “^(D)Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by the hand of My slaves the prophets.”

²² All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were 212. These were recorded by genealogy in their villages, ^(A)whom David and Samuel the seer established ^(B)in their office of trust.

²⁸ And all that Samuel the seer had set apart as holy and Saul the son of Kish, Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah, everyone who had set apart anything as holy, all of this was ^[a]in the care of ^[b]Shelomoth and his relatives.

²⁹ Now the acts of King David, from first to last, behold, they are written in the chronicles of ^(A)Samuel the seer, in the chronicles of ^(B)Nathan the prophet and in the chronicles of ^(C)Gad the seer,

¹² Then Amaziah said to Amos, “^(A)Go, you seer, flee away to the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and there do your prophesying!
