2 Samuel 22:21

King James Version

²¹The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

⁹Yet the righteous person will hold to his way,
and the one whose hands are clean^(A) will grow stronger.

⁹The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

⁴The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,^(A)
who has not set his mind^[a] on what is false,^(B)
and who has not sworn deceitfully.

⁴He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
