3 And David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, “Is not this (A)Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of (B)Uriah the Hittite?” 4 So David sent messengers and took her, and she came to him, and he lay with her. ((C)Now she had been purifying herself from her uncleanness.) Then she returned to her house. 5 And the woman conceived, and she sent and told David, “I am pregnant.”

3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba,(A) the daughter of Eliam(B) and the wife of Uriah(C) the Hittite.” 4 Then David sent messengers to get her.(D) She came to him, and he slept(E) with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.)(F) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, “I am pregnant.”
