3 So David sent servants and inquired about the woman. And someone said, “Is this not (A)Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of (B)Uriah the Hittite?” 4 Then David sent messengers and [a]had her brought, and when she came to him, (C)he slept with her; (D)and when she had purified herself from her uncleanness, she returned to her house.

3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba,(A) the daughter of Eliam(B) and the wife of Uriah(C) the Hittite.” 4 Then David sent messengers to get her.(D) She came to him, and he slept(E) with her. (Now she was purifying herself from her monthly uncleanness.)(F) Then she went back home.
