¹⁶ And David said to him, “^[a](A)Your blood is on your head, because ^(B)your own mouth has testified against you, saying, ‘I have finished off the Lord’s anointed.’”

^33 (A)So their blood shall return on the head of Joab and on the head of his ^[a]descendants forever; but for David and his ^[b]descendants, and his house and his throne, may there be peace from the Lord forever.”

^13 (A)lends money at interest and takes ^[a]interest; will he live? He will not live! He has committed all these abominations, he shall certainly be put to death; his ^(B)blood will be on himself.

⁴ then ^[a]someone who hears the sound of the horn but ^(A)does not take warning, and a sword comes and takes him away, his ^(B)blood will be on his own head.

⁶ But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the horn and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is ^(A)taken away for his wrongdoing; but I will ^[a]require his ^(B)blood from the watchman’s hand.’
