⁶and that by means of these the world that then existed ^(A)was deluged with water and ^(B)perished.

New International Version

⁶By these waters also the world of that time^(A) was deluged and destroyed.^(B)

⁶Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

¹⁶They were snatched away ^(A)before their time;
their foundation was washed away.

¹⁶They were carried off before their time,^(A)
their foundations^(B) washed away by a flood.^(C)

¹⁶Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:
