3 And in greed they will exploit[a] you with fabricated words, for whom the judgment from-long-ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

4 For if God did not spare angels having sinned but handed-them-over to chains of gloom, having cast-them-into-hell, being reserved for[b] judgment; 5 and He did not spare the ancient world but protected the eighth[c] one, Noah, a proclaimer of righteousness, having brought a flood upon the world of ungodly ones;

3 In their greed(A) these teachers will exploit you(B) with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4 For if God did not spare angels when they sinned,(C) but sent them to hell,[a] putting them in chains of darkness[b] to be held for judgment;(D) 5 if he did not spare the ancient world(E) when he brought the flood on its ungodly people,(F) but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;(G)
