2 Peter 1:9-11
International Standard Version
9 For the person who lacks these qualities is blind and shortsighted, and has forgotten the cleansing that he has received from his past sins.
10 So then, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election certain, for if you keep on doing this you will never fail. 11 For in this way you will be generously granted entry into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus, the Messiah.[a]

9 But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind,(A) forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.(B)
10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[a] make every effort to confirm your calling(C) and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,(D) 11 and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom(E) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.(F)
