7 And you shall strike the house of Ahab your master, (A)that I may avenge (B)the blood of My slaves the prophets, and the blood of all the slaves of Yahweh, (C)at the hand of Jezebel. 8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and (D)I will cut off from Ahab (E)every [a]male person (F)both bond and free in Israel. 9 (G)And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and (H)like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah. 10 (I)And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the [b]property of Jezreel, and none shall bury her.’” Then he opened the door and fled.

7 You are to destroy the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge(A) the blood of my servants(B) the prophets and the blood of all the Lord’s servants shed by Jezebel.(C) 8 The whole house(D) of Ahab will perish. I will cut off from Ahab every last male(E) in Israel—slave or free.[a] 9 I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam(F) son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha(G) son of Ahijah. 10 As for Jezebel, dogs(H) will devour her on the plot of ground at Jezreel, and no one will bury her.’” Then he opened the door and ran.
