27 He also walked in the way of the house of Ahab, doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for he was son-in-law to the house of Ahab.

28 He went with Joram son of Ahab to wage war against King Hazael of Aram at Ramoth-gilead, where the Arameans wounded Joram. 29 King Joram returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds that the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah, when he fought against King Hazael of Aram. King Ahaziah son of Jehoram of Judah went down to see Joram son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was wounded.

27 He followed the ways of the house of Ahab(A) and did evil(B) in the eyes of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done, for he was related by marriage to Ahab’s family.

28 Ahaziah went with Joram son of Ahab to war against Hazael king of Aram at Ramoth Gilead.(C) The Arameans wounded Joram; 29 so King Joram returned to Jezreel(D) to recover from the wounds the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramoth[a] in his battle with Hazael(E) king of Aram.

Then Ahaziah(F) son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab, because he had been wounded.
