⁷ Then he went and sent word to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, “The king of Moab has rebelled against me. Will you go with me to fight against Moab?” And he said, “I will go up; ^(A)I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.”

² And Yahweh sent against him ^(A)marauding bands of Chaldeans, ^(B)marauding bands of Arameans, ^(C)marauding bands of Moabites, and marauding bands of Ammonites. So He sent them against Judah to destroy it, ^(D)according to the word of Yahweh which He had spoken by the hand of His slaves the prophets.
