^4 (A)Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside ^(B)the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And ^[a]they went by way of the Arabah.

⁴ Now it happened that when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they ^(A)fled and went out of the city at night by way of the king’s garden through the gate ^(B)between the two walls; and he went out toward the ^[a]Arabah.

⁷ Then the city was ^(A)breached, and all the ^(B)men of war fled and went forth from the city at night by way of the gate between the two walls which was by the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were ^[a](C)all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.

⁶ In their sight, carry the baggage on your shoulder and bring it out in the dark. You shall ^(A)cover your face so that you cannot see the land, for I have set you as a ^(B)wondrous sign to the house of Israel.”
