¹⁶ thus says Yahweh, “Behold, I ^(A)am bringing evil on this place and on its inhabitants, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read.

¹⁷ Yahweh of hosts, who ^(A)planted you, has ^(B)spoken forth evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have ^[a]done to provoke Me to anger by ^(C)burning incense to Baal.
