13 (A)Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria marched against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them.

13 In the fourteenth year(A) of King Hezekiah’s reign, Sennacherib king of Assyria attacked all the fortified cities of Judah(B) and captured them.
Isaiah 8:7-8

7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord is about to bring on them the (A)strong and abundant waters of the (B)Euphrates River,
That is, the (C)king of Assyria and all his glory;
And it will (D)rise over all its channels and go over all its banks.
8 Then (E)it will sweep on into Judah, it will overflow and pass through,
It will (F)reach as far as the neck;
And the spread of its wings will [a]fill the expanse of [b]your land, (G)Immanuel.

the mighty floodwaters(A) of the Euphrates—
the king of Assyria(B) with all his pomp.(C)
It will overflow all its channels,
run over all its banks(D)
8 and sweep on into Judah, swirling over it,(E)
passing through it and reaching up to the neck.
Its outspread wings(F) will cover the breadth of your land,
Immanuel[a]!”(G)
