5 The Lord afflicted the king, and he had a serious skin disease until the day of his death.(A) He lived in a separate house,[a](B) while Jotham,(C) the king’s son, was over the household governing the people of the land.(D)
6 The rest of the events of Azariah’s reign, along with all his accomplishments, are written in the Historical Record of Judah’s Kings.(E) 7 Azariah rested with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. His son Jotham became king in his place.(F)

New International Version
5 The Lord afflicted(A) the king with leprosy[a] until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house.[b](B) Jotham(C) the king’s son had charge of the palace(D) and governed the people of the land.
6 As for the other events of Azariah’s reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah? 7 Azariah rested(E) with his ancestors and was buried near them in the City of David. And Jotham(F) his son succeeded him as king.
