34 He did that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes. He did according to all that his father Uzziah had done. 35 However the high places were not taken away. The people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places. He built the upper gate of Yahweh’s house. 36 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all that he did, aren’t they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

34 He did what was right(A) in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done. 35 The high places,(B) however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate(C) of the temple of the Lord.
36 As for the other events of Jotham’s reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
