34 Jotham did things that the Lord said were good, as his father Uzziah had done. 35 But he did not remove the altars on the hills. The people continued to offer sacrifices and to burn incense on those altars. Jotham built the Higher Gate of the Lord's temple.

36 The other things that happened while Jotham was king are written in a book. The book is called ‘The history of Judah's kings’. It tells about the things that Jotham did.

34 He did what was right(A) in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Uzziah had done. 35 The high places,(B) however, were not removed; the people continued to offer sacrifices and burn incense there. Jotham rebuilt the Upper Gate(C) of the temple of the Lord.

36 As for the other events of Jotham’s reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
