26 For the Lord (A)saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter, (B)for there was none left, bond or free, and there was none to help Israel. 27 (C)But the Lord had not said that he would blot out the name of Israel from under heaven, so he saved them by the hand of Jeroboam the son of Joash.

26 The Lord had seen how bitterly everyone in Israel, whether slave or free,(A) was suffering;[a](B) there was no one to help them.(C) 27 And since the Lord had not said he would blot out(D) the name of Israel from under heaven, he saved(E) them by the hand of Jeroboam son of Jehoash.
