After Naaman had traveled some distance,

¹⁷ Eli answered, “Go in peace,^(A) and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him.^(B)”

³⁴ He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.^(A) Go in peace^(B) and be freed from your suffering.”

Moses Returns to Egypt

¹⁸ Then Moses went back to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, “Let me return to my own people in Egypt to see if any of them are still alive.”

Jethro said, “Go, and I wish you well.”

¹³ Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant,^(A) is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. ¹⁴ But solid food is for the mature,^(B) who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.^(C)

² I gave you milk, not solid food,^(A) for you were not yet ready for it.^(B) Indeed, you are still not ready.

¹² “I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear.^(A)

⁴⁸ Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.^(A) Go in peace.”^(B)

⁵⁰ Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you;^(A) go in peace.”^(B)

¹⁶ “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. ¹⁷ Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
